In December 1998 the magazine Northern Beaches Journal was launched by photographer Robbi Newman, designer Ken Gilroy and editor Peter Hock. A high end, freeform art style product that defied the rules of conventional magazine design. It refelected and showcased the unique creative, and inspirational talents that reside on Sydney's Palm Beach Peninsula. A distinctive and special niche of Australias coastal living.
